Wine Clubs

We opened our Wine Club in 2001. It has been an extremely successful option for the winter. We have five wine tasting evenings each year, including a wine dinner and now have 90 members.

We had our first trip abroad in November 2003 when twelve of our members travelled to Bordeaux on a wine trip. We visited Chateau Palmer, Chateau Beychevelle and vineyards in the Pomerol Region. We also got to visit the cellar Mahler-Besse which are one of the finest wine cellars in Bordeaux and saw wines like Chateau Margaux 1961 which costs €5,000 a bottle.

The Wine Club's trip in 2004 will take us to Italy in October.
