Castletownshend & County Cork Ireland
Where We Are
Castletownshend is a beautiful village in County Cork on the South
West coast of Ireland. The place is steeped in history and is a
fascinating place to visit. The large houses, dating back three or
four centuries, are well maintained. The local Church of Ireland is
a must on your visit to the Village.
Knockdrum Fort and The Three Fingers show the rich tapestry that is
Ireland's past. There are many wonderful walks aroud and the
Village boasts a beautiful harbour fjord that welcomes many
visiting pleasure craft every summer and is home to local
fishermen's boats.
