West Cork's Favourites
Christmas Tradtitions 2001
In November, we asked our viewers to nominate their favourite Christmas tradtitions.
Congratulations to The Howey's & The McDonald's.
Each family received a pass to:

Drinking mulled wine with loved ones
Singing Christmas carols
Eating, drinking & lazing - Sally Barnes salmon pate noted as a favourite
Shopping in Skibbereen - and all the other great towns in West Cork
Joining the hunt on St. Stephen's Day and working off all those Christmas calories by racing over fields
and ditches after horse and hound
On Christmas Eve, burning candles on every window sill in the house to show the way to Mary and Joseph and
let them know they are welcome
Calling into neighbors on Christmas morning before the Christmas dinner
Going swimming at Inchydoney on Christmas Morning (& having a hot whiskey on the beach afterwards!)
